Today we began mediation with Mayor Darrell Steinberg of Sacramento. We are happy to share that we had two very productive sessions with the Mayor today where we discussed possibilities for what a final agreement might look like. He also met with the University bargaining team this afternoon. We are currently waiting for the Mayor to meet with the University again and get back to us, and we expect to have a more detailed update sometime tomorrow.
