The stakes of the ratification vote are huge. The tentative agreement and the systemwide contract differ by:
- $760 per month in wages for 20-hour TAs
- Thousands a year in tuition remission
- The existence of 8-hour TAs
- Numerous non-economic provisions
This vote is an opportunity for ASEs to take control of their future—our ability to deliver quality instruction and maintain our rights in the workplace depends on it.
